More About Spring Hill Tennessee
Before Spring Hill was settled by westerners, it was a hunting ground for the native american tribes (Cherokee, Chickasaw and Shawnee) drawn to the area because the fertile ground attracted wildlife. When Grants for Expansion came, Settlers who saw the same rich natural resources of the area were drawn to it. Soon growth became expansive, the community was built with churches, doctors, blacksmiths and merchants moving into the area. Spring Hill is around 28.7 square miles with Nashville just 35 miles North of Spring Hill. The City Straddles two counties - Maury and Williamson and is part of the greater Cumberland Region. The City population is estimated at around 40,436 (2018 survey) and is estimated to grow around 78% more by 2030.
