Williamson County is an unincorporated rural community near Franklin Tennessee in Williamson County. College grove was one of the earliest communities in Williamson County. It mostly gained population during the 1880's right into the 1920s. In 1861 the webb guards company was raised from Triune, college Grove, Peytonsville and Bethesda. College Grove was the definition of the quintessential rural Tennessee with 100 residents, 3 cotton gins two corn and saw mills, a general store and a wagon maker.
