Franklin is home to many major health care related businesses like Healthspring, Clarcor, Community health Systems, Medsolutions Inc. The area is part of the greater Middle Tennessee and prospered during the antebellum years. They cultivated tobacco and hemp as commodity crops and raised prubred livestock.
